About the Role

CLO is seeking a creative, socially minded, and tech‑savvy Communications & Engagement Coordinator to help amplify our voice across all platforms and strengthen engagement with the disability community, sector partners, and the broader public. This role suits someone confident in hands‑on content creation, passionate about storytelling across digital channels, and committed to elevating the voices and experiences of people with disability.

In this role, you will deliver high‑quality, accessible, and inclusive communications aligned with CLO’s purpose, values, and service approach. You will drive communication and engagement initiatives across TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, video, newsletters, website, and digital marketing, working closely with the Chief Strategy and Specialist Services Officer and internal business units to ensure consistent, authentic, and inclusion‑focused messaging that supports organisational growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create engaging, accessible content that amplifies participant voice and reflects CLO’s commitment to disability rights and inclusion
  • Produce high‑quality video, photo, and written content, working confidently alongside people with disability
  • Drive CLO’s presence across TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms with fresh, creative digital campaigns
  • Keep all communication channels aligned with CLO’s strategic direction and tone of voice
  • Support CSSSO‑led communication and marketing projects that enhance strategic growth
  • Deliver targeted campaigns that promote sustainable growth and market presence
  • Maintain brand consistency, accessibility standards, and a polished public profile across all platforms
  • Collaborate across business units to deliver unified, consistent messaging
  • Champion a culture of inclusion, respect, and diversity in all communications
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of the annual CLO Report
  • Achieve communication and marketing KPIs outlined in the marketing and business development plan

To Thrive, You Will Have

  • Experience in marketing, communications, digital engagement, or a related field
  • Strong capability across social media platforms and digital marketing tools
  • Confidence in content creation—including filming, interviewing, photography, and basic editing
  • Excellent administrative, writing, and IT skills
  • Exceptional communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to actively listen, collaborate, and engage with a diverse range of people

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Current Driver’s Licence
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain
  • Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a relevant field
